  • All passengers in boat must be registered Registrations are required to be on their person and tournament caps are required to be worn during tournament hours.  Participants must have Michigan fishing license.
  • Participants agree to tournament rules with signature on entry form.
  • All boats are required to be checked in by a tournament official each day at: Hoop N Holler, Gogebic Lodge, or Bergland Dock.  
  • Boats will be required to start from a designated check-in station: 8am (ET), 7am(CT); Daily ending time:  Friday 6pm (EST) 5pm (CT); Saturday: 5 pm (ET) 4pm (CT).
  • Registrations must be signed by a tournament official each day of entry.
  • All fish must be registered alive and be released alive. Tournament officials call on fish condition is final.  We encourage contestants to release fish.
  • Tiebreakers will go to the fish that was registered earliest.
  • Scale samples may be taken.
  • Boats may NOT, in any way, come in contact with other boats (Except in an emergency).
  • There will be no fishing from dock or from shoreline.
  • All fish must be caught during tournament hours on Lake Gogebic.
  • All state fishing and sportsman laws also apply to contest.
  • Any person(s) disobeying the rules will be disqualified immediately.
  • Only one major prize per contestant.
  • No points system. Largest walleye by length only.
  • Speed limit on the lake is 55mph. It’s state law and safety issue.
  • The fishing committee reserves the right to investigate or contest any registered fish,
